Ms. Feather is a highly skilled Montessori guide and teacher and is passionate about her work. She builds a beautiful relationship with her students. She has truly been a gift to our family. She has the capacity to build a safe space for children, and knows exactly at which stage they are, and keeps track of their development when forming or adapting the groups. 

Reading Buddies is way more than just a space to develop a love for reading or a reading practice group. It's a place where children of all ages meet and support each other and develop important social and interactive skills. Our son developed deeper empathy for others and self-trust during Reading Buddies. It was a fantastic experience for him and we feel all children should have access to it. Building relationships based on respect, kindness and support for each other is priceless.

The other children of the group supported him when he was learning to read with lots of kindness and respect. And he took his role responsibly when it was his turn to apply the same qualities to support and encourage younger readers. This space also opened avenues to new discoveries, to vocabulary enrichment, book recommendations and fruitful conversations.

Needless to say that Reading Buddies helped him develop a true passion for reading and we now need to make sure he is not sneakily reading late at night.
